We're opening to 2005 in a grand way, putting out the first ever release by 16 year old Californian Melissa Welch. We are honored to showcase her beautiful yet tiny ep 'sleep-wake'; 3 tracks of eclectic bliss, filled with layers upon layers of sweetness and soul-warming vibes, all wrapped up in esotheric, candycane vocals. I listened to one of her songs when I was twelve. Now, being eighteen, I look back at it and realize how lucky I was for serendipity to bring me here to this lovely release. Five stars, no question.

Beautiful voice...I can't get enough of her. Music is very dream-like with the perfect amount of elecrtonic sounds to keep it going.
Its music like this that is a real treat to listen to where I can close my eyes and see something different everytime (if that makes sence).
Only complaint is that it isn't long enough. Can't wait for more from Melissa!
